“Gyre” refers to a circulating movement, like ocean currents, seeking cultural exchange and hidden connections between communities across different parts of the world.
“Craft”, meanwhile, points towards field research deeply rooted in local contexts—in landscapes, customs, skills and memories—in order to understand the forms of local knowledge embedded within them.
Gyre，意指“迴环”，试图营造一种如“大洋环流”般的流通环境，在全球范围寻找城市社群之间的文化交流与潜在关联；Craft，意指“技艺”，朝向一种将田野深入本地，寻访特定地域风土/风物，技艺/记忆所共同凝结而成的地方性知识与情境。
