GyreCraft Selection brings together handmade pieces and special finds by local makers, independent designers and artists from across China and the UK. Wind Knows, Hand Knows. From Sussex, with its rich craft heritage, to different places and ways of making across China—from Guangzhou, Quanzhou, Guizhou and Huzhou to Shaanxi, Henan, Nantong and northern China; from jewellery, basketry, embroidery and fisherwomen’s weaving to vintage textiles, yarn weaving, fragrance and sustainable lifestyle goods. The wind carries stories of making, along with the materials, crafts and ways of life rooted in different places—a life that is local, handmade and sustainable.
